Are you North, South, East, or West???

You Are North
Like a Viking, you are assertive, decisive, and dominant. You seek power and destroy those in your way.
People admire that you are so confident and independent. You seem to have the world figured out.

Sometimes you come across as pushy and aggressive... not that you mind! You like being seen as tough.
You make a fairly good leader, especially in times that require grit and ruthlessness. You are a warrior.

Interesting find...

I don't watch a lot of TV...yeah, there are certain shows that I like to watch...but I am not a big one for watching the good ole "boob-tube".

Last weekend I was channel surfing and there was a show on called "The Oprah Effect". Interesting documentary...I watched and there was a lady featured on the show. She did an experiement where she decided to "live Oprah" for a year. She did this in 2008 and blogged about her experiences. I just recently started to read her blog. I went back to the beginning and am working my way forward. It's kinda interesting.

I must admit that I am somewhat of a fan of Oprah....I don't get to watch her show because when it's on here I am usually at work. I used to set it to tape shows that I had interest in so that I could watch them later--but since my vcr and cable box don't seem to be compatible--I can't do that anymore.

If you are interesting in the link to this gal's blog...here it is:

Here we are in mid-September already. My dad used to tell me when I was a kid that "the older you get, the faster the years move." Boy.....was he right!!

We are going to be on the move again....ugh!! I hate moving!! I was hoping to stay in this place for at least another year....but the guy that owns this place is selling it to his brother. I've been looking for another place to rent...but a real estate agent contacted me about buying. I was a little aprehensive about buying---only because my plans are to move from this area in like 4 years (after Jade graduates) so I asked him what the point in buying would be. He said that it was do-able and that I would have a little bit of equity built up by that time so it wouldn't be a total loss. Well....pray for me and Jade in hopes that we can get into something soon. Our lease is up on November 1. I think at this point whether we buy something small....or rent another place....it's gonna be just me and Jade. I don't think Glen is coming along.....yeah...this relationship is slowly dying........That's a whole different story.

So I am off to dye my hair....put some ham/green beans/potatoes in the crock pot.....then I am going to dye my hair (Jade asked me to have it done before Back to school night!! She "doesn't want anyone to know that I am an old lady!" Lol...she is soooo funny!!).

Have a great Sunday!!

Back to school...

Can you believe it??? My baby started high school on Thursday!! She had a great first day----only got lost once!!

She went to the high school football game last night and she said that a boy in 10th grade asked her if she wanted to go to the game with him---she said she told him "I don't know." She ended up going with her friends, but she did say that she did see him at the game.

Today she's off to the PSU game with another friend.....gosh!! This girl's got a huge social calendar!! I can hardly keep up sometimes.

Our county fair is finally over----Jade did great!! She took her horse and showed another horse for a local farm. They brought home 8 ribbons and placed in 10 events!!

Talk about scary-----some girl was hanging around the barn....a lot according to Jade. She ended up lifting Jade's cell phone number off the emergency contacts on the horse stalls.....and on Tuesday (the last day of showing for Jade)....this girl was texting her!!! Jade had completed her in hand classes and took one of the horses back to the stalls. She came out to me and said "What the hell is this?" I said "What??" She read me the text "Jade, this is so -and-so. I was hanging around Sonny and Ariana's stalls." Jade just ignored it.....several hours later she gets another text..."Are you there?"......Jade ignored it. Then later that evening when she was done showing and we were cleaning up to go home she got yet another text.....but this one was a picture of some sort...it came up as an error and Jade's phone wouldn't open it. Thank God!!! Because who knows what it would have been!!! WHY CAN'T PEOPLE JUST MIND THEIR OWN BUSINESS!!!!!!!!

Jade said that this gal has not attempted to contact her since that day. I hope she got the message and will just let well enough alone.
